It was very busy when I visited at lunchtime on a weekday, but there were still seats available. Good home-made food with plenty of daily specials.

I came to Gannets for lunch with a friend today. We both had jacket potatoes which were lovely. The wait times to order and receive a drink were long but the wait for food wasn’t very long. The jacket potatoes came with a very interesting salad with different components to it such as rice, lettuce, and two different types of carrot. Overall, we enjoyed eating here. The cafe was very clean and staff were lovely. We both went back for a slice of cake out of their very yummy looking selection.

Lovely little cafe offering a range of home cooked food made well - this is the cafe to come to if you’re looking for a bite to eat I had the chicken, sweet potato and coconut curry which was divine and sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was delicious - I recommend! Beautiful outdoor seating area in a little sun trap too!

Great coffee, food and value. Came in for lunch and was not disappointed. The food was great and the menu had a great selection of hot and cold options, all good value. The drinks choices were abundant, and the coffee was great (as someone who enjoys a 'good' coffee I would return). It was busy but there seemed spaces even still as its spread across multiple floors. There is a small outside area to the back. There is parking available nearby at Asda for 2hrs. Easy walk into the town centre. The toilets were clean and tidy.

Really nice food, friendly staff and a lovely autumnal cosy vibe! Had a oat milk hot choc, mushroom and walnut lasagna & a carrot cake to take away. Very good for dietary requirements! Only negative was the veggie lasagna was covered in a lot of cheese & could have had more flavour.

Love this gem of a cafe. The food is wonderful. They have a great range of healthy freshly made salads, homemade quiche, filled jackets and pasta dishes. Delicious breakfast options too. The creamed mushrooms on toast is yummy. Also they do gluten free options The homemade soups served with a gluten free savoury muffin are delicious.

Lovely place to get lunch. Proper homemade food. We ate in the back courtyard outside but upstairs looked lovely as well.
